macOS: Selecting hide spectrum from preferences doesn't hide it. Afterwards it is displayed as "No spectrum" in the panel menu but visible.

Selecting no spectrum from panel menu from this or any other state does hide it though.

Was there a "No spectrum" text?

I could not replicate this. The only thing that I found is that the Color panel is still resizable (leaving a large gap where the spectrum should be), but that is the same whether selected from Preferences, or the panel menu.
Maybe another issue could be that when selected from Preferences, the color panel is not updated (needs a close / open).

This is what I see and get:

@Ingolf This problem should be fixed now, let me know if it still occurs.
