    Deleting the only canvas causes creating a new canvas not to work

      EDIT:

      This happens on all types of canvases and only as soon as the last one has been deleted.

        @Nils Yes. When a root canvas is empty, in the Create Canvas view select Last or First Member in the Place field, then it will create a new canvas.
        I will make this automatic in the future.

          @vectoradmin I see, it does work.

          I wanted to ask you about this canvas hierarchy thing anyways. What's exactly the purpose of having a parent canvas? I tried looking in the docs, but couldn't get smarter this way...

            @Nils It is just a organization (hierarchy) of canvases. It is always easier to organize things the user creates into hierarchies, than a flat list.
