Reference image pixel movement when adding nodes or editing them

I know this has been brought up before and perhaps a related topic here with @Sullyman . I wanted to be sure this aspect of the issue was covered and brought to your attention @vectoradmin
When I am tracing overtop a raster image that I've locked down, I get pixel shifting each time I make new nodes with the pen tool or when I edit existing nodes. Sometimes I can ignore the issue and other times it affects the accuracy of what I'm trying to trace
Here is an example where it moves as I add nodes with the pen tool and here is an example where it moves as I attempt to edit nodes -
