Layer panel , colour selector issue

When clicking on the colour square in the layer's panel , the colour wheel shows up but clicking on any of the controls like sliders etc.., makes it dissapear again
Clicking on it again doesn't bring it up again , instead you have to right click anywhere else and then click the colour square again .

(Edited, had blindly used the Appearance Panel in the previous post).
can confirm this, also win 10 and 1.1.029
couldn't use a slider either, only the color picker -
@gentlecl Yes, this can be replicated on Windows (works on Mac). Added to the backlog, will be fixed ASAP.
EDIT: For a workaround, double click the layer name to open the Layer Options view and set the color there.
