Character Style Presets do not switch in the Character Panel

Hello, Using Win 11, VS 1.1.038
I don't think the character style resets are working correctly from the Character Panel > Character section. Using the drop-down to select a preset does not change the Preset settings for the font or in the panel.
Using the Character Panel burger menu > Character Preset seems to behave as expected.
