Custom color palette bar issues

I noticed some interesting issues with the custom color palette bar I loaded in VS. If I have nothing selected in the document, I can click on each color in the color bar palette and the white selection box appears on the correct color clicked.
If I have a vector shape selected in the document and do the same thing, some of the colors do not get any white selection outline and then others were being selected but not when clicked on - so it was odd. At around the 38 second mark, the black spot color I made do not get selected at all when a vector shape is selected first... it can be selected when nothing in the design is previously selected.
@VectorStyler - this was the same color palette that I sent to you a few weeks ago. I can send again if that helps. -
