New From Template Broken

Hi
Saved a scrap file as a template, but can't create a new file from it using New From Template ?
File opens OK normally and tried a few files - same result.
All other New... options seem to work fine.
Am I missing something, I note from a forum explanation that you simply open a regular *.vstyler file?
