Objects no longer selected after drag and drop in layers panel

When selecting objects and moving them in the layers panel with the mouse, they are no longer selected after the move has been performed. It drives me crazy.
Moving up and down via the toolbar does not do this. Then the objects are correctly selected even after the move.

This is a bug. I added it to the backlog.
