New from Template Issue

In preferences/document files/new template, you enter a path to a "standard" template file that you might use.
However, when selecting the menu - File/New from template - it doesn't always attempt to show the files from the above path, it uses the last path that you opened/imported a file from.
I would assume that New from template would always go to the folder that you store templates in ?
Perhaps another entry in document files/path to templates folder would be useful - or for ease, always open the same folder path as per the entry in preferences/document files/ and use that for all ?File/Open Document would always start with the last path you used of course.

@Igull I have to postpone this for now, as it would imply the addition of new feature.
There is a plan for a better New from Template view, where template files are automatically scanned, in a future version. -
