A while back, I had an issue with points in a group not snapping to other objects - the issue was "snap to member objects" not being enabled.
I'm having the same issue again - except that the member objects is enabled.
I've attached a vid (apologies for the messy parts 🙂 ) showing the issue - v1.067

As an aside to this, anyone find a way to improve the recordit experience, it stutters all the time - tried it on three machines (2 x mac 1 x PC)
      TIA
      Neil

        Hi

not really a solution for Recordit stuttering
but on PC i can recommend the "ScreenToGif" Tool
to record Gifs. Very cool little Tool.

i record my Gifs with it and then play the result
and recording it with Recordit for the finish Gif

        Win 11
        CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, 6-core.
        GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 5070.

I guess most Mac users here use the free version of Recordit which records the screen at only 4 frames/second.

Recordit Pro (29 USD) allows you to change the frame rate (up to 12 frames/second).

GIPHY Capture (free) lets you record at any frame rate (and upload up to 15 seconds), but you need to make an account
with them for uploading the GIFs, and the additional clicks needed after recording the screen makes it a bit slower
          to work with than Recordit.

MacBook Pro (Intel) running Monterey 12.6.4

            snap to member objects

There are to options for this (too many), Snap to member Boxes controls whether the members of moved object are snapped.

(have to find a better name for this).

Not sure I understand, is it broken ?

@Igull Not broken, the "Snap to Member Boxes" must also be enabled.

Ahh, I understand, however, still not working here, both snap to members and snap to member boxes both selected ?

Yes, if both selected, it works here.

OK, I've sent you the file in case it's something else.

                        @VectorStyler

OK, I have found a scenario where I see it breaking.

                        1 Create a rectangle - call it rectangle 1
2 Create 4 further rectangles and ensure they are not overlapping - group these 4 - call them group 1
3 Create 4 further rectangles and ensure they are are overlapping - group these 4 - call them group 2

All parts of group 1 will snap to rectangle 1 , group 2 will not. Seems to be something to do with the fact that the objects are overlapping.

                        I rest my case 🙂

Edit: There seems to be more to this problem, occasionally, some of the nodes on group 1 do not show a highlighted cross and therefore will not snap. In fact, as soon as you group a few objects, various nodes cease to highlight and therefore will not snap - seems to be exacerbated when the objects overlap.

I agree and keep saying this with every build release update! I still keep saying it redundantly because @VectorStyler deserves to know the hard work is appreciated
