Clicking a flyout click/tap target re-opens the flyout menu

  • For example, the Fill flyout: click the fill colour target opens the fill options. Click the fill colour target again hides the flyout for an instant, and opens it again.

This is against common GUI OS guidelines and does not comply with expected GUI micro-interaction behaviour:

Click once to activate, click again to deactive (open<-->close).

It is rather odd to experience a micro-interaction that functions like follows instead:

    Click once to activate.
    [loop]
Click again to deactivate and activate
    [/loop]

I noticed this GUI behaviour is maintained throughout Vector Styler's GUI design, but it feels "broken" because it breaks the above mentioned fundamental GUI rule.

Will be fixed, add it to the backlog.

  • Great! Thanks.

@Bones This issue should be fixed in the new build 1.1.072.
It is fixed for fill style popups only.
The behavior of toolbox popups did not change, for now.
