    This is great! I love that it's an option in preferences and that by having it set to embed by default, no one mistakenly loses something because of a missing link assuming it's embedded when it's not, etc. It's a very easy thing to switch over to link by default in preferences now for those who prefer that.

    I assume using the option key gives the opposite result from what has been set as the default in preferences?
