      When I am last using the Node Tool, I cannot switch directly to a shape tool such as the rectangle with shortcut J

      • Switching to other tools such as Pen (P), Brush (B), Text (T) or select (V) works as expected.
      • I can do a 2-hop like Node Tool (A) -> Select Tool (V) -> Shape Tool (J/E)

      Edit: From feedback I understand this is not a bug but a feature.

        @syllie When in node editing mode (A), J is used for joining two selected nodes,
        or two open shapes. That's why it won't switch to the Rectangle tool.

        But here I can switch to the Ellipse tool with E…

          @b77 Thanks for looking at this. I see why it works like that. I am certain that I could not switch to other shape tools before I reported it, but cannot reproduce now so perhaps I made an assumption here.

          AKA not a bug, but a feature šŸ™‚ Thanks!

            @syllie Yes, there are a few other single-key shortcuts when in shape
            editing mode — you can see them in the right-click menu.
