@861475_VctSt Yes there is a plan to import and use the color profile of the image. This is treated as a bug.
You can enable Full Disk Access for now as a workaround for reveling in finder.

That's right.
For example, I wish I could see it in the "Content Link" panel.

This allows us to check for images that are data inappropriate for import and reprocess if necessary.

For example, in Adobe Illustrator
Document Information Panel> Link Information

To me it's important to see the DPI value of a bitmap image after it's been imported in the document, so I can know if it's good enough for print and resize it or… use something else.

Would displaying the DPI value of the selected bitmap at the head of the context panel be difficult do implement? Currently when you select a bitmap you see just '{Image}' displayed there. Not very informative.

(When you scale down the image on the canvas, the DPI would increase, and if you scale it up it would decrease).
