Problem with boolean add operation.

Hi. I want to weld the 'Birthday' word , but i recive different results depends on how many letters i select. Could you explain me why this problem occurs? To make full word propper I merged 'Birthda" first and than added 'y'.

@encart Seems to be some issue with the merging. I will try to replicate the issue. What font was used in the example?
