Option to edit the number of edits related to the color shift of the Save button indicator

I really like the solution made with the Save button indicator color shift. The issue for me is that the transition occurs too quickly - enough that it becomes almost useless to me in terms of a warning.

Could we have the ability to modify the number of edits related to the color shift of the Save button indicator?
