Glitchy Navigator UI (when docked, being undocked)

Odd behavior occurs when trying to undock it from its own vertically pane (no other elements docked above or beneath or within it). It instead disappears into the document window next to it and becomes an abomination living within. It looks to be caused by accidentally "redocking" it next to itself when trying to undock.

I didn't record it, but try unpeeling document Views when it's glitching like this. It causes them to come out very easily and have their own menu, but quickly become unworkable...

By the way, is this normal for pulling windows out? (See extra Menu)
