Stroke size indicator on the screen sometimes gets stuck

The stroke size indicator on the screen sometimes gets stuck and remains forever after the stroke is deselected. This is NOT a new issue with the new build - it's been around for several builds, I just now reported it.

Here is a video showing how it remains on the screen. What I noticed is that it's only tied to that specific file. in the video, I switch to a different open file and the overlay number disappears - when I go back to the original file, it returns (remains). If I close out the file completely and reopen it, the overlay is no longer visible on screen.

I also tried changing the size of a stroke again while the overlay was stuck on screen - you can see in this second video that the new size overlay seems to sit overtop and then when I am done - it fades away but the original stuck overlay remains
