Palette from image does not work as expected

If I have an image that only contains a certain number of colors.
In the example 4 colors, it shouldn't be possible, in my opinion,
to create a palette with more than this colors from it2
Then i get more colors than I selected in the settings,
I get 5 colors, for example, even though I only
set 4 colors.3
I also get colors that aren't in the image at all

Ok, thought antialiasing might play a role.
Created an image without antialiasing, but
the results are still the same as described above -
