Pencil tool gets stuck in cycle of only creating results with both the fill and stroke

Sometimes I can get it to repeat the issue on a new file and other times it works correctly...

@Boldline What happens if you set the stroke to none from the color panel (not from the context panel buttons) ?
It might be that this is the difference. I will try tor replicate this.

I meant to include this in the original post. I copied the fill and strokes to a new document. when I use the pencil tool with fill and no stroke, it worked correctly. but once I clicked the existing fill and strokes, I was back in the cycle of being unable to stop it from occuring.

It might be that this is the difference. I will try tor replicate this.It seems to work correctly for me using the color panel and not using the context panel buttons. What I also discovered is it happens all the time when the stroke width tool was applied to the source image.
