"Ghost" object in Layers when deleting ?

Deleting an image in a layer, an "object" is created at the same time. Closing and opening Layers, it has disappeared.

@fdarnel Could not replicate this with a basic example. If you have a file where this happens, please send it to csraba at vectorstyler.com and I will try to replicate it.

There seem to be several display bugs in Layers. When I past an image in a layer, it only appears after closing and re-opening Layers.
