Latest updated version on my M4 Mac won't start up. Not much to add: Just clicking and nothing happens.

Tried to download new version from webpage. This version seems to work. Problem solved

Did this happen after the autoupdate? and was this the "Universal" build, or the Apple Silicon only build?

Sure, it was after auto update from within the previous running version. Can't tell if it was the "universal" one.
The manual download was Silicon.
