Live Text does not get highlighted when dragged over

I noticed the live text box does not always get highlighted when double-clicked on. Also it's hard to get the text to be highlighted. I run into this issue when using both the text tool and also the transform tool. Here is a video of this
I tried this on two different computers, both running the most recent build

@Boldline I tried to replicate this but here it is working. Could be some settings or workspace thing.
Send me your current settings/workspace files.

Fixed already, it was a resource thing. The issue was caused by showing position in the ruler, and this broke the selection rendering.
