Replace font properties

Using this tool, my original intention was to replace the font attributes, but I didn't expect the text to be replaced as well. -
Perhaps this matter was accidentally missed? @VectorStyler

It works for me, the style is applied and the original text is kept.
Is there any special font you used ? -

@monsterfox The Object Shape checkbox means that the shape is copied.
If the VS point text (text shape) the text itself is the "shape" of the object. This allows things like using editable text for clipping.
