[Polygon tool] Ctrl+UP/DOWN shortcut behaviour

  • When polygon is selected, using CTRL+Up combination the first time increases the number of vertices, the next use moves the object one level up. Similarly CTRL + Down.

  • @encart On the Mac you need to press just the Arrow key to increase (or decrease) the vertices count, and Cmd - ↑ moves the object one level up.

It should be the same on Windows — no Ctrl key needed to change vertices count when drawing. If not, sounds like be a bug.

  • @b77 Works like you said in Shape editor mode, but there is a conflict when Transform tool is active. I just wanted to move the object forward and by accident I discovered that could use a shortcut to modify polygons.

@encart When the Transform tool is active, the Up/Down keys should move the selected object (regardless of the shape type). The polygon side increase/decrease should only work when the Shape Editor tool (second in the toolbox) is active, or while drawing the shape.

Was the shortcut changing the polygon side while in the Transform tool? If so, this is an error (unless the shortcuts were edited).
