Shift+ letter combination activates tools when editing text.

I want to select whole text placed in text field and replace it

1. Click 3 times on text field
2. Text is highlighted, what makes me feel that editing mode is active.
3. Attempting to enter a capital letter results in the keyboard shortcut being invoked. ( Shift+A , Shift+W, etc)
