@encart I tried with the example on Windows with latest version (1.0.045) and could not replicate. I will keep the issue open.

I can easily replicate with any shape.- Create shape
- Move red point outside shape.
3.Create new object by pressing Alt and rotate.
This problem has already appeared in the previous releases.
