@encart I tried with the example on Windows with latest version (1.0.045) and could not replicate. I will keep the issue open.

I can easily replicate with any shape.

1. Create shape
2. Move red point outside shape.
   3.Create new object by pressing Alt and rotate.
   This problem has already appeared in the previous releases.
