    Layer Options "preview on" by default?

      Would it make sense to have the preview button in the Layer Options panel "on" by default?

        @Boldline I guess it's off by default only because it may be a performance hit.

        MacBook Pro (Intel) running Monterey 12.6.4

          @b77 @Boldline Yes, all such preview check boxes are off by default for better performance (small difference). But these preview check boxes should be persistent to application exit / restart, so checking them once will stay on forever (or the next reset).
