      I would love in a future version of VS - to have the option to set a custom bounding box for a shape or grouping...
      You can see in this example, the "W" has an extension that sticks out to the left further than the rest of the letter. So center aligning this to the art board is a little challenging because when I grab the entire text wording group, it wants to include that extension as part of the centering....

      It would be nice to be able to select an object like the word "wrestling" and give it a customized alignment bounding box.
      This way I could align things perfectly even when there is a section of the selection I want ignored in terms of centering.
      Right now I have to make a rectangle stroke with no fill to the main section and align that and then move the group or shape over to line up with it.

        @Boldline Optical alignment is in the backlog, but this one is more specialized.
