Could we add an option in the Line Shape Grid Panel to input a certain number of lines? Right now there's the option for selecting spacing. I could see it the addition of an option to choose how many lines are created as an alternate to choosing the spacing between (the option currently). I wouldn't want to get rid of the current spacing option, just add another option for controlling how many lines are made

@vectoradmin this addition would solve the request I made last week about an auto-divide option

I can suggest you to use Move window as a walkaround . Is is comfortable and you can set the spacing and number of lines as well.

            • Draw a vertical line
            • Select the line and hit Enter for Move window
            • Set parameters and hit enter once again

But you have to rely on the dimensions
You can group the lines toghether, activate snapiping and scale to exact object's size .

@vectoradmin If it is possible, I propose to add support for changing number of the lines with arrow Up&Down key. Like the mechanics known from polygons.

@encart That's a great tip! I appreciate you taking the time to share that. I had never tried the move window option before; it's very handy.
It's nice to have multiple ways to solve a problem. Each time I explore deeper into VS I'm always impressed with something new I find. I also always appreciate the shared tips and suggestions!
