Line Width tool options?

How can I push/pull just one side of a line? I tried opt and cmd keys, but no luck. If not an option on VS can this be added?

@asan The stroke profile can be turned into asymmetric with the Stroke Width panel menu Symmetric option.
And the Edit Profile command of the panel menu can be used to edit the asymmetric profile.

Is it possible to add a modifier key to switch to asymmetric
