Background flickers with "store history" enabled

I turned on the "store history" tab when making a new document and when I started making rectangle shapes, the screen flickered. the gray area outside of my art board was switching back and forth between white and my default gray. The speed of the flickering back and forth was directly tied to the speed I moved my cursor as I made each rectangle. The video shows what is happening, but it was more obvious than this but that was not able to be truly and fully captured by the camera app.
I'm still in el capitan for a while going forward until I purchase a new machine sometime later this year most likely. Hanging on to CS6 for a while until I feel comfortable enough to use VS and Affinity for all my work (it's getting there! I feel more comfortable with VS all the time) I don't know if that is a factor in this glitch or not. -
@Boldline I add this to the backlog. It should work on El Capitan also.
