  @Boldline When deleting a node, it will delete the segment before the node along the path direction.

If the node editing tool is selected and used to select the warped shape, then pressing "convert to curves" will not work - you need to switch to the transform tool and then try "convert to curves" to have success

  @Boldline A possibly fast solution is to just select an object that has an uniform width stroke, then drawing with the Pen tool after that should revert to that width (or to 1 pt width if the previous object has no stroke).

  @VectorStyler No, the cursor is a small curve with circle on top plus a mini regular cursor LOL. I've tried a vid, but it's not capturing the above cursor change for some reason. The cursor changes from a regular cursor when hovering, to this other cursor when shift is depressed. Neil

  @jfraze When you don't find some feature or command you need, try the Search field under the Help menu (say, 'shortcuts'). If it's included, macOS will point it where it's located in the menus.

  @Boldline With two "separate at intersections" commands this corner was also separated. I opened a bug on this one, as one command should be sufficient.

  @Boldline Currently the Shift key keeps the line segments at certain angle, and node movement direction cannot be restricted. One way to work around this is to select those nodes, activate the Transform tool and move with that. I will try to change this to allow multiple node movement constrain for shift key, as limiting the segment angle does not make much sense in this case.
