@vectoradmin I think that if the app would revert the path direction after each flipping of an open path (or not do it if it already does), the stroke of the object would be placed on the same side after successive flips — in the case of this semicircle the stroke should still be on the "outside" of the curvature. @vectoradmin Thanks for answering. Although I regret they do not support Perhaps they could better explain in the help what hardware is supported or not. I have rechecked it, and I do not see more that it has been tested on 2010 macs and that it can work "older" but it does not say what or what requirements you really need. From what I understand, the note about the use of Metal is not mandatory either. I have already come across other programs that the problem is out there, still indicating 10.11 as a minimum. When the requirements require a specific hardware in addition to a system version, for those of us who are not experts it is better to indicate the hardware based on the supported Apple models so that we can better understand if it works or not. @vectoradmin Refresh doesn't seem to be having an effect, what seems to fix it is making a change to the curve of an unexpanded stroke, after that they'll stop disappearing.

@Vector-Rock I could not replicate this issue, but it will keep it open. Was this on Windows or Mac? If there is an example file where it could be replicated, please send it to me by email. It could be that for some reason the Layers panel does not update after a change and then this breaks the hiding/showing tools.

I opened a ai file made with CS3 that had lost Appearance look and I Copied and pasted and locked the object on top did my edits and then. when I unlocked it the strokes disappeared leaving only the Gradient. I saved and closed the file opened it back up and it was just fine. BTW I am on a Late 2014 MacMini7,1 8 GB of ram with a XP-pen DIspaly 12 inch pro running Catalina (10.15.7). I saw a few Visual glitches when I was also looking at the old file to try and fix the new file. Like a copy Part of the Tool bar was left behind when I moved the window

@b77 If that approach were taken, I would also suggest adding an option to mimic the Affinity products, which use proportional scaling by default for text and images but not for shapes.
