@Ayo said in About the Snap feature:
Wouldn't it be better to change "Snap to Visible Only" to "Snap to View Extend Only" or shorter "Snap to Viewport Only" or even shorter "Snap to View Only" ?
There is a big chance of confusion with the term 'visible' which is mainly linked to the layer system.
I added this to the backlog.
@VectorStyler The following error is included in the file I provided. Selecting the red circle inside will result in the selection of the outer graphic.
@VectorStyler My suggestion is to add an option called "Reverse Transformation" in the transform menu, with customizable shortcut keys for quick access. Thanks for adding this feature!
@Daniel You've done an awesome job discussing the tools, the Bezigon tool especially! I've learned a ton of information from you on all this and I appreciate your dedication to helping everyone understand better. I'm sure @VectorStyler has a good sense of what you're talking about and when he gets the opportunity to add it, we can go deeper with it and see if there are improvements to be made, etc.
@VectorStyler thanks! Also, sometimes when I am selecting colors on the left side, VS does not always let me select them - they don't always get highlighted, I think in part because some might have multiple colors inside the grouping? Would it make sense to add a button on the left side of the colors that could be clicked on or off to highlight the color?
@monsterfox said in Auto-closed path:
When the two ends of a path are close to each other, a single connect operation can merge them into one, forming a closed path.
A button for this is available in the context panel when the Node tool is active.
Dragging one end of a path to touch the other end should automatically close the path. We'd like to add this functionality.
I'm not sure about this automatically.
@VectorStyler This is similar to the curve-based operation I mentioned earlier, but it lacks precise control. It would be perfect if we could have parametric settings.
@Boldline said in Shift modifier to keep end nodes stationary:
I was testing this out in VS but could not quite tell if it was implemented or not.
This is not supported in VS.
@VectorStyler said in Could the Polygon Tool start with the last Setting used ?:
For the default options, click on the canvas with the polygon tool (no dragging)
Thank you,
i test it and it works this way
@lilith said in adding animation features:
Will you consider adding animation features in the future, such as Synfig Studio
Maybe in a spin-off app. The current VS is already very complex, and there is a lot that will be added.
