looks like some performance problem to me even just loading the File took 15 seconds here

@encart , @VectorStyler good point I think if someone would set a new width node and the node would look the same as in your picture here. Then it would be a bit easier to use the node handles from the beginning. [image: 1686643498262-handles.png]

@VectorStyler ok so deleting the existing settings/workspace files (the ones I emailed you already) fixes the problem with the pen tool here. If anything changes with this, I will let you know

@VectorStyler A dot instead of a line is displayed under the cursor. Just like for the middle point. It looks like the handles are treated like the one in the middle.

@Igull Looks like an accumulated transform on the stroke. This can be cleared with the Appearance panel -> select Stroke -> and Clear Content Transform in panel menu.

@Boldline I will try to find a solution for this.

@Subpath To add a node just before the starting node, select inside the segment instead of selecting the starting node. I will fix this bug ASAP.
