Update: I found out why these PDFs were failing to display; I had the Import AI Data from PDF setting enabled and as soon as I disabled it, the PDFs are now opening in VS without any issues!

@Raaskot Looks like the crop tool keeps the image centered. I will try to find a solution for this An other way to crop is to convert to curves and use the Node tool to edit the path of the image.

@nocturnalYL It is the title the view, the same options used in display. I will change it.

@nocturnalYL If youn have a HDR display, try the 16-Bit/Component mode in the View -> Display Options -> Color -> Precision field. EDIT: but it does not support HDR rendering (the color domains are different in HDR).

@Raaskot These parametric shapes cannot be create with brush outline. You have to select it afterwards. Those settings work for Pen and Pencil only. I will add an option for this.

I’d find that really useful as well. When working from reference images, I often need to sample multiple colors quickly, and having a more capable eyedropper would save a lot of back-and-forth. As a workaround, I sometimes use colorpickerimage.org to grab exact color values from images before bringing them into my design workflow. Still, having this built directly into VectorStyler would be much smoother.

I've noticed performance can vary quite a bit depending on document complexity. One thing that helped me was simplifying some live effects while editing and only enabling everything again before export. It would be great to see more optimization for larger projects though, especially when working with lots of nodes and layers.

That makes sense. I've noticed extra points can sometimes appear after certain shape operations or conversions, even when they're not obvious at first. Checking the node count after editing is a good habit and can save some confusion later on.

Technical issues in VectorStyler can sometimes be hard to reproduce, so having the reasoning behind the fix instead of just the final answer makes this way more useful.

That would actually be a pretty nice usability improvement. I sometimes click the empty canvas expecting a quick-open behavior too, especially when switching between multiple projects quickly.
