@VectorStyler: Just an update; Over the weekend, we managed to figure out how to set per node flag and lock the nodes: It works beautifully and reproduces the tangent node behaviour within the two node scheme that we now have in VS. You'll see the little blue lock under the node. That's the node locked to chord! You'll also notice the clamping function, true-circle approximation as well as ghost lines for comparison. We managed to simplify the APIs, cut down the entire library by about 30% in length. We did use AI to run tests (as before) and tests produce FreeHand's results across millions of random paths. I'll document everything thoroughly and do a handover. After this, it's entirely up to you how you wish to implement it. But I've handed you all the pieces you need. This is a simple conversion from Indo Arabic to Mayan numerals. It took me a half a day to write. I did ask Ai if my code was right and it helped me debug.

@Li-Xiao I wouldnt recommend to take the Blend Tool for the first one. @VectorStyler It seems the resource was corrupted. The problem was resolved after I performed a clean install.

@VectorStyler I tweaked a little the settings of the utility switcher, to see if i could found some culprit setting, but i cant found nothing that makes difference. The program is capable to set a background over the three monitors, or one different for each one, to add a calendar over the background, etc. Maybe that makes some tweaking on the system, i dont know. But it affects some function that VS also is related, appear to be.

@Daniel I agree with you. I actually requested something similar here a few months ago, and this kind of simple, straightforward implementation is exactly what I had in mind.

@Subpath: Just saw the full Moho official video. That is wild. I remember a while ago, I posted a project similar to that was going to open source. I can't remember the name. I will find it - I definitely threw in the mix. I want to know what happened to it.

@VectorStyler I do not know if that is the reason. Their transp. checkerboard stays same size during zoom (how it should be, so it is not distracting to the eye). In VS the skares change size when zoom is at hand. It should not happen as it gives the impression of lagging. Checkerboard should stay as almost like a 'wallpaper' really.

@marce Having practical, real-life skills has never been a bad thing. After all, what skills does someone actually acquire by having AI generate an image and considering themselves an artist—as opposed to someone who has learned how to paint? Even if you don't like Adobe, this is something that couldn't leaves no one indifferent. After all, it’s not just about getting one over on Adobe or being able to clone software more easily. It will likely become significantly easier to develop malicious software—or to have it foisted upon you in the form of clones of popular programs. Ultimately, there’s no telling how much you can trust the people behind this. Incidentally, developing the clones itself reportedly cost around $2,000 in tokens; after all, an AI like that doesn't come for free. You don't even have to decompile the code, because AI can simply observe a piece of software's behavior and then replicate it. In any case, all of this raises a great many questions.
