  @Raaskot The text box seems to have 2 transformations. The Shape Effects panel contains these transformations and can be individually removed there also.

I think this this case you need to use a character scaling option from the Character Panel (expanded mode of the panel). Also, there is a Settings that changes the character scaling when scaled with the Transform tool.

  @creative When you create a new document with the "New Document Setup", all the settings changed there will be defaults. There is a "More Options" button on the right side, if you scroll down.

Just set up a new document with guidelines and everything else needed, and then save it and use it as a template with the New Document Setup. Thank you very much, that's probably the best way. With so many great features and functions in VectorStyler, it's easy to lose track.

  Mac, I looked at the reveal workspace but include those files there the dozens of new document presets I created? The Presets Manager seems to be the better way.

  @Tonyrambler It should work now. I had the same issue with my previous MacBook and choosing "Metal" was the solution.

In this case you can clear the width profile on the new object by clicking the solid stroke icon in the stroke panel (second from last).

VS will still clean the temporary files, but it does so after crashes, and not at startups. With normal exit, VS will not leave temporary files.

  @creative The current "New Document" view cannot define new groups of presets. It will list all document optins presets in a single flat list. I will improve this ASAP.

  @Boldline Use the "Isolate Inside" (double click) to edit the content of a group. I changed the order of the selection (members first) for the next build (it is just a resource flag), lets see how it will work.

  @VectorStyler Understood. If there could be a simulated expansion, it would solve this problem by preserving the non-destructive effects and applying the final effect to gradient content after the Repeater.

Just select a color on the color panel, or a gradient in the gradient panel (without an object being selected). A style selected in the Styles panel is not going to be used as a default regardless of settings.
