@Subpath I think this depends what is inside a pattern. For a regular boxed pattern, there are also options to flip every other tile, that might help in creating seamless patterns.

Welcome to VectorStyler! I don't see a way to setup unlimited undo, but you can change the undo steps here in Document Setup (Cmd-Shift-P): [image: 1682899441819-screenshot-2023-05-01-at-03.02.08.png] Also: the History panel (Ctrl-H) has an Undo/Redo slider.

@VectorStyler At the time I was just playing with the functionality and I posted it as question as it did not even occur to me it was unexpected behaviour. As such, I did not keep the original shape that I worked with to create my variation. I must have hit some extreme or applied an effect twice perhaps, as you can see in the shape, the petals are sort of heart shaped (indents are alternating). I do not even have a clue how to replicate the base shape. I did play a bit with the functions option too (S-Curve, Hanning, Sphere, Pinch). Not sure if this is worth pursuing. @VectorStyler If the 'Exclude' boolean operation was named 'Subtract', 'Subtract' would be used here as well, and there would be no confusion about the meaning ('Exclude' can be misinterpreted).
