@Boldline Case 1: A graphic filled with color, when splitting the nodes, the situation mentioned above will be obtained. Case 2: Importing a third-party file, it is not smooth, with many nodes, whether the path is closed is unknown, and it is easy to cause misguidance.

@Boldline It should be added when pasting the text. But only a single font is added, in case of multi-font formatted text. Send me a file that contains font that is not added when pasted.

@VectorStyler Yes, I did this but it also works by selecting all the symbols in once & CtrlX-CtrlV.

@debraspicher The default Layers panel selection in VS is similar to the one in Illustrator. But in VS you can configure in the Layers panel menu -> Panel Options to sync the on canvas and Layers panel selection by checking "Select Highlighted" and "Highlight Selected" options.

@Raaskot "Symbol 1" cannot be moved (replicated here also). This is caused by having Layers inside the symbol (only groups and objects are supported). The only way to solve this now is to remake the symbol with groups and objects (no layers in the symbol). I will try to fix this issue in the next build. "Symbol 2" can be moved here

@Boldline Were these panels docked or floating? It seems that the workspace file resets for some reason (it does that for some key presses at startup)

@VectorStyler one thing I like in Affinity is that an obvious indicator appears when the selected shape is completely snapped flush with the first shape. In this example screenshot below, the three squares to the right side of the green line were dragged over to touch the original three squares on the left side.
