  ...also, I'm not in favor of this "feature". I much prefer the SHIFT key to work the same way across all value fields when pressed in conjunction with the up/down arrow keys. (eg increase/decrease the value by 10) If you have to press SHIFT to temporary change the color of the inactive swatch, you might just as well press X to switch to the other swatch back and forth.

  @pentool Can be replicated here also, will be fixed ASAP. As a workaround, deselect all after assigning the blend path and then select the blend object again. What happens here is that the blended objects are selected twice (bug)

  @Igull There's no joke in it. Maybe the artboard "jumped" because it was trying to center the huge canvas (once you get to a certain level). Will give it a try see if it happens on my end. ...yes, it happens to me, too if the canvas is huge and "Large Canvas" is not enabled.

  @Boldline Command-8 triggers the "destructive" Combine operation (Object > Combine Path > Combine) which results in a path, not the composite operation which lets you move/edit the objects inside the composite object with the third mode of the Select/Transform tool. Btw, Option-clicking any of the Combine buttons in the context panel triggers the non-destructive Boolean operation instead.

  I've been using custom preferences for awhile now and I have not experienced this so far. Usually when I have to reset something, install a new version (which seems to reset the preferences) I load it back and it stays there for me. How did you "replace" the default settings? You dragged your file into a folder using the Finder or you used "Preferences > Presets > Load from file" option?

  I believe I can see in part what @pentool is referring to with the shape panel. It seems to me that there's some repetitive options as you go deeper with the buttons to edit the shape and the one to edit the corners. I started getting confused as to what was different about setting the corners on the surface level compared to going deeper aside from there being a couple other clickable options for inverse, etc Someone may know more and have a better idea, but it seems to me it would make more sense to have these options for the shape itself and the corners as sections of the same panel like the stroke panel is now. The stroke panel covers several stroke options, each in their own open section of the panel

  @pentool Yes, this happens because when isolating into n object, an empty clipping group inside that object is created. This allows then to draw other objects that are clipped. The problem is, that if nothing is drawn, it just leaves the empty clipping group there. I will try to find a solution for this.
