@Ayo said in About the Snap feature: Wouldn't it be better to change "Snap to Visible Only" to "Snap to View Extend Only" or shorter "Snap to Viewport Only" or even shorter "Snap to View Only" ? There is a big chance of confusion with the term 'visible' which is mainly linked to the layer system. I added this to the backlog.

@Harry working also outside VS Technically this is doable, but when doing this MacOS will (and should) notify the user if it allows VS to record the screen. And the user must add VS to that allowed list somewhere in the security settings.

@VectorStyler said in Could/Should items be automatically grouped when placed into VS?: @Boldline Are these vectors grouped in the other program? Here a few tries from me VS to Affinity Designer 1, no Affinity Designer 1 to VS, yes Clip Studio Paint Vector Layer as SVG to VS, yes VS to Clipstudio Paint as SVG Vector Layer, no Corel Draw to Affinity Designer, yes Corel Draw to VS, yes

@Boldline I was referring to Pencil 's and Brush Tool 's options in the upper toolbar to add them to Path Brush Tool toolbar also: [image: 1693399043614-obraz_2023-08-30_143722144-resized.png]

@William-Kansepa said in Tint option in the Color / Palette panel: It could be user error on my part, but I can't seem to find the option of changing the tint of a swatch. I notice that there is a different kind of Tint option under Variations, but the one I am looking for should be be under the Color or Swatch panels. What I see is only the Opacity slider. For the purpose of clarity, I will use these screenshots of Affinity Designer as an example. [image: 1693146062162-affinity-designer-colour-options.jpg] [image: 1693146133471-affinity-designer-tint-amp-opacity-sliders.jpg] I found the Tints slider at the bottom of the Colour palette after expanding the palette!

@pentool said in Expanding the options for the Path Sketch Tool: A little off topic, but the reason I don't like those screen recorders is because they don't scale. If you have a big screen, it won't fit into a 13" laptop screen and have to scroll left/right/up/down sometimes to see what people are doing. Yes, your right a youtube video could be a better choice if you need a full screen record. But often you need just a little area and its fast and it get the job done. (ScreenToGif is a 170 kB Tool ) On window you could scale the contend of a browser a bit via Control Key and the scroll wheel.

@Boldline I think this has been requested before, a sort of document specific favorite fonts, but it is marked manually. This will be in 1.2

@pentool I think this could be done, after 1.2 is released. I have to consider what tools are best for public bug tracking and how to integrate with this forum (bugs will be still posted to the forum).

@pentool said in Option to create single path segments with Pen tool: You can just press Escape (ESC) to end the line. Interesting, I didn't know that. That's a little more reliable because it's not reliant on clicking at the same time

@b77 said in Could a group that has been combined be listed as such in the layers panel?: Should not the resulting object have 'Group' in the name? Grouping two composite shapes will result in a "Group" label. But after turning one group into a composite group, it will be shown as "Composite Group"

@b77 said in File > Revert: the last saved version and the preceding saves are displayed in a submenu of 'Revert to Yes! This is what I was picturing. Very cool! VS allows each save point snapshot to be custom named (as I'm sure Logic Pro also does) which would make it even easier to know which option to revert to. It's kind of like adding the option from the history panel to the main section
