  @Ingolf Yes, this seems to be a (temporary) highlight update issue with the Layers panel. Added it to the backlog as a bug.

  @Igull Thanks for the inside information. It is always interesting for me to hear other use cases. My profession was digital printing but we also had some plotters for cutting foil. But I have always been interested in areas that are related in the broadest sense. So I know a thing or two about laser cutting. My team leader once brought some very impressive samples from a print show. For example, an apple with a laser cutting Motif on it.

  @Boldline @Devil-Dinosaur Yes, this can be replicated easily and the root cause is identified. Will try to fix it ASAP. EDIT: as a workaround, double click to isolate and then draw.

  @VectorStyler An elegant solution could be to integrate this choice invisibly into a Start Window, where if the user chooses a web size artboard/preset document (say, 960x1600px), it creates it with top-down coordinates.

  @VectorStyler Sharing related examples of difficulties related to issues with the settings for the stylus on VS. Very often it is difficult to get the stylus to select an existing node to move and edit it. You can see in the video examples of my attempts to click on an existing node and move it. I have better luck in the middle of the video and repeated failures at the end. The issue happens often in every project I work in. The more zoomed out I am, the more likely it will not select the node as it should - the more I zoom in, the more likely it will work as expected.

  I wonder if it might be worth having a command that applies the reverse transform to the stroke itself and toggles the option, so that the current size of the stroke is maintained and the option is applied from that point forward? That way both behaviors could be supported.

  @Ingolf Not directly related, but possibly helpful: If the first thing you want to do after finishing a path is editing its nodes, you can do it by holding down the Cmd key which switches to shape editing mode. Then releasing it reverts to the Pen tool.

  @VectorStyler Is there some additional window manager or other tool installed on MacOS? No, other than the normal option of having multiple desktops (spaces) available - which I use. Generally allocating a single app to a desktop - keeps everything tidy. However, currently, VS is on the same desktop as Safari. Command+TAB is one easy way to get to another app (you can use Mission Control - again, part of the OS and not a separate app as such), the OS just displays a horizontal panel of apps - click on one to go there.
