@Raaskot said in Transform: Up-dwn-keys act strange on stepping values i value fields: Is it supposed to act in that way? No, this looks like a bug, but I cannot replicate it here. Could be caused by some changes in the workspace or settings.

@VectorStyler said in Slow Typing Performance: @gotanidea I'm testing these issues with slow typing performance. The new document has no issue with speed (the old is till slow). What configuration you use for these tests? and which text is edited in the new document. I'm trying to replicate as close as possible. Can you please click the first text box ("Before rigging any character geometry ....") at the top-left region of the new document using the Text Tool, then hold the "a" key? I use: VectorStyler v1.3.001 Windows 11 Home 64-bit AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Graphics (16 CPUs) ~3.2GHz 16384MB RAM NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU

@VectorStyler Hi, this is on Windows 11 24H2 and the settings are "checked" inside of performance settings such as !"Direct Preview of Changes" or "GPU for Mesh" and "GPUfor Distortion" but don't seem to actually be working. Selecting ok seems to fix "Direct Preview of Changes" but no way to be sure about the GPU settings.

@VectorStyler Here are two files provided: one with combined elements. I've tested it—when this file is closed and reopened, there's no lag during selection. The other file contains scattered elements. You can test further by combining more shapes.

@Boldline said in Live Text does not get highlighted when dragged over: Hopefully it’s not too complex a fix Fixed already, it was a resource thing. The issue was caused by showing position in the ruler, and this broke the selection rendering.

@VectorStyler Sure, it was after auto update from within the previous running version. Can't tell if it was the "universal" one. The manual download was Silicon.

@monsterfox Another workaround: disable "Snap to Shapes". This feature (dragging objects from a collision point) allows for the rotation and collision of objects at that point to another shape. But: I could still not replicate the cursor showing for unselected objects.

There seem to be several display bugs in Layers. When I past an image in a layer, it only appears after closing and re-opening Layers.

@VectorStyler said in Polygon Selection - Selection area changes when zooming: @Subpath I reviewed this now, and it is not a bug. The zooming / panning allows to reposition the canvas under the selection already drawn. It is by design, the alternate would be to move/resize the selection area with the zoom. Would that be more useful? I only noticed and mentioned it because I was a bit surprised. But personally I don't really need it. I now know how it works and I act accordingly. So I'll leave it up to you whether you think it makes sense if the selection changes, in that case, with the zoom. I think, at least as far as I've tried it, you can only zoom when using the polygon selection anyway.

@VR said in VS unresponsive/unstable when paired with pen tablet: I also need two other vital feature: a toggle for relative vs absolute brush sizes sizes vs zoom levels on the path brush tool as well as using the most recent attributes by simple selection Question on this: would this mean that when zoomed in, the brush size used while painting (and the stroke width also), will be the same relative to the screen points?
