@Vector-Rock It is not possible to lock single guidelines. But it is possible to create new guideline groups and lock, show/hide or assign different color to these groups. This can be done from the Guidelines panel menu: Create on Canvas creates a new empty guideline group that is global to the current canvas. Create on Artboard creates a group on the current artboard. The group is assigned a default name, but it can be edited in the field at the top of the panel. Guidelines assigned to an artboard are clipped to the arboard. The Guidelines panel will list the guidelines from the current group only. The current group can be selected from the drop down at the top of the panel. New guidelines dragged form the ruler are added to the current guideline group. The Visible, Locked and Active items from the panel menu can be used to show/hide, lock or activate/deactivate (disable snapping to) the current guideline group.

@Vector-Rock Yes, object roles are an excellent method to create styles with live links to the original object, including corner shapes. If you want the new corner shape to be available globally, in other document also, then another way to create new corner shapes is to use the Styles -> Create Styles -> Create Corner Preset. These will result in non live corner shapes, but when creating as a preset it can be available in other documents.

@Vector-Rock For now, the Shift+ will constrain to 45° increments. I will open a feature item on this one, but the Shift+ constrain will remain in place (maybe another key can be used). It will not make it into the very first release, but it is not a hard issue.

CORRECTION: the horizontal dragging works only from the field label (not in the field, where it is used for highlight).

@Arde Yes, this is a regression that occurred with the recent changes in tinted color handling. The issue is already fixed and will be release in the next build, should be out soon.

@vectoradmin said in Using the Objects Menu, HIDDEN- Leaves Object Outline: @Vector-Rock The original idea (before some regression) was that the select all hidden command selects these and then unchecking the Hidden command. But it makes more sense to have a Show All command. Of course visibility can always be set in the Layers panel. @vectoradmin That make so much more sense. Illustrator users would be totally confused. Besides, how could you toggle on "Hidden" from the Object menu given that the object is hidden and you can't select it (except through the layers panel; which of course, if you needed to do that, you might as well Hide and Unhide from there):ha, ha, It seemed so obvious to me, I was afraid to post and ask, thinking I was missing something really, really simple, and I'd totally embarrass myself by asking . I feel better now.

@Boldline said in color panel stroke/fill setting turns gray when set to "remove color": [When I click in the color panel and make a fill or stroke color "empty of color" - the box turns gray.] @Boldline. Good news. You are not losing your mind. I thought it was happening to me earlier too, but started to mess around with some other stuff and as soon as I saw your post, it reminded to look into it again. And it's not just Gray. Its' BLACK if done with the Stroke. For me, with nothing selected, and the Fill Icon in the FORWARD position, clicking on None makes the FILL Icon turn Gray. If the Stroke Icon is in the front/forward position (in front of the Fill Icon), and you click None Icon, it turn the Stroke Icon BLACK.

@vectoradmin A single "Undo" command to revert to the previous stroke after choosing a Stroke from the Stroke Drop-down Menu is now working in Build 1.0.029 RC3 (correction). THANK YOU for fixing that. Direct Entry into the Field Box was previously/always working with single undo. When using the other two Stroke adjustment methods: -Slider Bar -Scroll in Field Entry box with up/down arrow keys on keyboard I'm not quite sure exactly what method is being used to choose what value to "undo" to when you do a "series" of undos (i.e., many undos) using those two methods. Sometimes it reverts to what you expect it to do. Sometimes it does, but requires two undos, and sometimes it goes to a value that was never previously used. Weird.

@encart When the Transform tool is active, the Up/Down keys should move the selected object (regardless of the shape type). The polygon side increase/decrease should only work when the Shape Editor tool (second in the toolbox) is active, or while drawing the shape. Was the shortcut changing the polygon side while in the Transform tool? If so, this is an error (unless the shortcuts were edited).

@encart Yes, this happens because the starting click selects that other object. Will be fixed.

@Kyriakos The ruler clicking becomes inactive when the guidelines are locked or hidden. This affects the units also, will fix this later.

@encart When a very large number of objects are moved, or for some reason the redraw is slow, the contour mode is activated automatically even if the menu option is enabled.
