    There is a workaround that requires using Shape Corner in the Effects panel. However, this only works if all four corners of the rectangle have the same radius. If the corner sizes are inconsistent, Shape Corner doesn't allow for individual corner adjustment, and you have to use the Corner panel instead, which makes this workaround unusable for that scenario. https://youtu.be/akNbqo8wqo8

Double clicking on tool icon while a shape with effect is selected opens (or puts forward) the shape effect panel, allowing user to change the parameters. With halftone, the appearance panel could be put forward, allowing user to change halftone parameters of already created effect. The issue is with already created halftone, the user may think the dialog opened by double clicking may be used to change settings (and it does in preview), but then clicking ok undoes the changes, which is confusing.

    Once you've applied a custom preset in repeater, you cannot return to original custom shape and use repeater

    @Boldline The problem here is that repeater presets also contain the repeated objects. This is needed to add repeaters to as a fill to existing objects, but it can cause problems for repeaters that are not filling shapes. The repeated shape can be changed by selecting a new object and the repeater and using the Replace Repeated Objects from the panel menu

    @VectorStyler thanks for these clarifications The center point sets the relative center where the repetitions start, not the location of the repeater. This can be a bit confusing with the shapeless repeaters. yes, I find this confusing. One common thing with shapeless repeaters is that they tend to extend outside of the artboard when adjusting the geometry parameters and it is frequently needed for user to recenter the repeater. Having a node for this in the editor tool would be great. Also, I don't really understand what changing the repetition start does on the repeater itself visually. Does it change where index 0 is ? what would be a practical use of this control ? These repeaters do not have the center attribute. I understand. However it would be nice to be able to move the repeater with the same editor tool Offset spiral editor overlay missing I could not replicate, so it may be an error on my part the other day concentric repeater geometry clipped in a square Here is a file : 0_1764843592784_concentirc repeater.vstyler

    @EricP Thanks a lot for your help. I’ve been struggling with this. Will have to look more into the settings @VectorStyler Yes, in VS1.2 it was default setting or I may have enabled it and forgot. Thanks for providing more options.

    @fde101 Seems to be a bug, but I cannot replicate it. Selecting Content mode still fits the buttons. I will try to find out what can cause this.
