@Boldline I think there always should be a center node. Try dragging the handle from the center, even if the node is not showing. If you have a file where the center node is not showing, send it to me I will try to figure out what is going on.

@VectorStyler as far as i know, Node inserting follows the direction of the black arrows (see Picture) if you inserting nodes by double click on a Node so the node my red arrow is pointing at should not insert a node at all, or am I wrong? [image: 1652898550168-inserting-nodes.png]

@VectorStyler Thanks. I'm glad it was a bug and not a reduction in Japanese language functionality. Please fix this as soon as possible. It seems it's been like that since ver 1.1.xx. I didn't notice it either, as I've been away from VS for a bit. I feel a little sad that there are not many Asian users.

@FanVidder What I described is a pretty specialized area, so you won't find tutorials for it. Anyway, don't forget to: create artboards that match the UPM (in Glyphs it's 1000 by default, so make the artboards 1000pt tall); drag guidelines at least for the baseline (default is at 200pt) and for the ascent line (default is at 900pt).
