@Boldline Well, this is the same for most of the other features of VS. There are panels that contain (mostly) a subset of options and then each such feature may have a larger (more complicated) modal view. I think panels are useful, to allow non-modal editing of selected parameters. And it is not possible to publish all options in panels only, so modal views are also needed.

I really miss these options as well this makes beautiful patterns possible. Like here, only one oversized stroke on a Star. [image: 1648535884757-big-stroke-1.png] [image: 1648535890636-big-stroke-2.png]

@vectoradmin Oh, right. Yes, so we can avoid clutter in the UI and just add a sentence in the documentation. Elegant.

@Sullyman I think this is part a bug, part missing feature. The (minified) panel states should be restored at startup, if not this is a bug. Having a toolbar-style arrangement of minified panels is not possible now, this is in the feature request list, has been requested before. One thing that is possible now, and could be close to this, is to create a new custom toolbox (Customize Toolboxes) and add the panel opening actions to that. This will temporarily pop-up the panel, but it will also close when clicking away.

@Victor-Vector This looks like a bug, as it should not depend from which side the mouse approaches. I just checked, and the same issue happens on Windows 10 also.

@Petar_MK Initially I was a bit thrown by this too, but then I came to realize it had advantages to be able to set them separately. For instance I like to work with an HSB wheel for the visual feedback of the wheel, but sometimes I will want to see RGB values to my corresponding choices. I certainly has helped me understand the relationships between the different color system representations. I suppose it's easy to set if you want them the same, and there are only 4 that correspond between 18 the sliders and wheel/spectrums.

@Boldline I think the issue is that these two shapes contain brushes, and it seems that the brush content is not blended.

@Boldline This looks like a bug. The brush list is a preset panel, are you doing double clicks on the brushes in the list? One thing to try is to enable "Apply on Selection" in the panel menu, to use single clicks to apply the presets. It should work in node tool also.

@vectoradmin I see. Groups would be more convenient I think. It would be nice if either styles from object references would appear in a group in the styles panel automatically if they are in an object group, the name being fetched from the group object groups could be applied a "Style Group" role, that would accomplish the same

For anyone encountering this issue, here's a workaround workflow that abandons symbols and uses styled groups, object markers and transform each: Instead of making a symbol out of a deeply nested group mark the group open the "Selections" panel click on the hamburger menu select "Setup Markers" create a marker select the group Select Menu > Markers > Object Marker > Choose marker either clone it ( currently to be avoided until bugs are fixed by @vectoradmin ) just make copies of it and rely on the nested styles for uniformity Select Menu > Markers > Select Marker > Choose marker all marked objects are selected Object Menu > Transform > Scale > check "Transform Each" > select reference point > scale The benefit here is, as discussed above with @vectoradmin, that you now have symbol-like capabilities ( although using more memory as a disadvantage ) and can also use not only this better scaling, but make targeted overrides to some of multiple uses of the same style in deeply nested, styled groups.

@PatrickM Things seem to be a bit easier than I thought after all. As I found out in the meantime, every Blend is is already on Curve/Path, dont know this before. All you have to do is select the blended shapes and switch to the "Shape Editor Tool" and you can bend your curve. Blend to Curve 3

@vectoradmin you are right. I know that way and i like it. What I mentioned for @Boldline is only meant as a temporary workaround.

I would prefer centered on screen as now - it just covers many coding/use case scenarios elegantly. But great idea with the visual feedback.

@Boldline More info on this one: there is an extra fill content on the groups inside the moved group. This should be fine, but due to a bug, it is not rendered correctly while moving. Workaround: in this case that group fill is not needed, so it could be removed in the Appearance panel.

@vectoradmin Here is a video of pen tool drawing two curve. First Curve: First node is simple click and second node is drag Second Curve: First node is drag and second node is click Should not those be same(mirror)?. If I create this in other program the two curve are same(mirror). As I already discussed about first node created in VS with pen tool in this thread. What would you say about this? I would really want to know.

@Boldline Only Linear and Concentric gradients without gradient shape adjustment can be exported as vectors. PDF or SVG should work. All other gradient types are flattened to images when exporting.
